Lent is a season for "getting it right." It is a time set apart to focus on the essentials and let go of all those things that get between us and the full life God intends for us. The disciplines of Lent - fasting, prayer and acts of kindness - become tools for restoring God's pattern in our lives. It is a time to die and rise in Christ.
